Start your sebum-care routine at the cleansing step
This is the very first product in your skincare routine. Formulated with salicylic acid (BHA), glycolic acid and lactic acid (AHA), and gluconolactone (PHA), it helps target pore-clogging sebum and dead skin buildup right from the cleansing stage. On makeup days, use a cleansing oil or water as your first cleanse, then follow with this as your second cleanse.
Suitable for morning and evening use
In the morning, it clears away sebum that builds up overnight. In the evening, it washes away the day's impurities and excess oil. This mildly alkaline moisture cleanser delivers thorough cleansing power, while four types of ceramides and hyaluronic acid help reduce that tight, stripped feeling after washing.
Build a rich lather with a foaming net
Wet your hands or a foaming net, dispense an appropriate amount, and work it into a generous lather. Once you've built a dense, cushiony foam, gently massage it over your entire face in circular motions. Pay extra attention to the sides of your nose and jawline, and use a lighter touch around the eyes and lips. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Avoid rubbing the foaming net directly on your face, as this may cause irritation.
Pairing suggestions based on your skin concerns
- If sebum is your concern: Follow with a lightweight toner, then layer a niacinamide serum to help with tone-evening and sebum control
- If calming is a priority: Continue with a toner or ampoule containing centella for a synergistic soothing effect
- If dryness is a worry: Apply a deeply hydrating toner immediately after cleansing to lock in moisture and prevent water loss
Precautions when using AHA, BHA, and PHA products
Because this product contains acids, using it on the same day as retinol or high-strength vitamin C may cause irritation. If you're new to acid cleansers, start slowly and monitor how your skin responds. Always apply sunscreen after morning use. Store away from direct sunlight and use within 12 months of opening. If you experience redness, swelling, or itching, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.
