Targeted spot care step for breakout-prone areas
This is a localized treatment designed to be used during your serum or essence step. After toning, apply it directly and sparingly to areas where breakouts have appeared. It's not meant for all-over facial application — use it as a targeted treatment only where needed.
Safe for AM and PM use, but take precautions
Because it contains AHA and BHA, always follow with SPF if using in the morning. If you're new to this product, we recommend starting with your evening routine first to monitor how your skin responds.
Apply directly to breakout areas using the dropper
After cleansing and toning, use the dropper to dispense a small amount directly onto the affected area. Gently pat it in with your fingertip until absorbed, then continue with the rest of your skincare routine. For best results, focus on localized application rather than spreading it over large areas.
Routine pairings by skin concern
- For frequent breakouts: Follow a calming toner with this spot treatment, then finish with a lightweight hydrating cream
- For excess sebum and visible pores: Use after a lightweight water-based toner, applying only to breakout-prone areas in the T-zone
- For post-breakout marks: The 2% niacinamide helps support a more even-toned complexion over time
Precautions when using acid-based products
This formula contains AHA (an exfoliating ingredient) and BHA (which helps dissolve buildup inside pores), so layering it with retinol or other exfoliating treatments on the same day may cause irritation. Skip application on days when your skin feels particularly sensitive. If redness, stinging, or dryness persists, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.
