First step after cleansing: refine skin texture with a toner pad

This is your first-step toner product, used right after cleansing. It gently sweeps away any lingering impurities and dead skin cells while delivering a surge of hydration. Think of it as laying the groundwork for your entire skincare routine — it helps the serums and creams that follow absorb more effectively.

Use morning and night

In the morning, use it to clear away overnight oil and buildup. In the evening, use it to remove any residue left after cleansing. The mildly acidic formula (pH 5.0) won't disrupt your skin's balance, even with daily use. On days when your skin feels extra sensitive, you can skip the wiping step and simply press the pad onto your skin for a calming treatment.

Start with the embossed side, finish with the smooth side

Take out a pad and gently wipe along your skin's natural texture using the embossed side. Pay a little extra attention to areas where dead skin tends to build up — forehead, nose, and chin. Then flip to the smooth side and lightly press it all over your face to lock in hydration, leaving skin dewy without any sticky residue. For areas that feel warm or irritated, you can leave the pad on for 3 to 5 minutes like a mini mask.

Storage and usage tips

The formula contains PHA, a gentle exfoliating ingredient, so irritation is minimal — but layering it with other exfoliating products on the same day may cause sensitivity. After opening, keep the lid tightly closed to prevent the essence from drying out. If you experience redness or stinging during use, discontinue immediately and consult a dermatologist.
