The Final Step in Your Skincare Routine: Special Care
Eye patches are a special care product used at the very end of your core skincare routine. Apply them after you've completed your usual steps—toner, essence, and cream. Because these patches contain retinal, if you've already used a retinol product during your essence or serum step, it's best to skip the patches that same day.
Focus on Your Evening Routine
Given the nature of retinal, evening use is most effective. If you do use them in the morning or during the day, be sure to apply sunscreen thoroughly after removing the patches. You can also apply them before bed and sleep with them on. These highly concentrated hydrogel patches won't dry out overnight or draw moisture away from the delicate eye area—instead, their seamless adherence helps deliver retinal deep into the skin.
Leave On for 20 Minutes or More, and Use the Remaining Ampoule on Your Entire Face
After applying the patches, adjust them to fit the contour of your under-eye area, then gently press down with the warmth of your fingertips to ensure full contact. While you can use them for a shorter time, we recommend leaving them on for at least 20 minutes to allow the active ingredients to absorb. Once you remove the patches, gently pat any remaining ampoule into your entire face so nothing goes to waste.
Multi-Use Care Beyond the Eye Area
You can apply these patches anywhere fine lines are a concern, not just around the eyes.
- Horizontal forehead lines
- Frown lines between the brows
- Smile lines
- Neck lines
In the morning, use them to smooth out pillow creases or as a cooling prep step before makeup. In the evening, target tired eyes and smile lines for intensive care.
Precautions When Using Retinal
Because these patches contain retinal, if you're new to the ingredient, start with 2 to 3 times per week and gradually increase frequency as your skin adjusts. Always apply sunscreen the morning after use. Using them on the same day as AHA, BHA, or vitamin C products may cause irritation, so it's best to separate by time of day or use on alternate days. While these patches have completed a 24-hour skin irritation test and are suitable for sensitive skin, discontinue use if you experience any discomfort and consult a dermatologist.
