The basics of a water-activated cushion puff
Use this during your base makeup step when applying foundation or cushion. The 17T thickness creates a plush air-cushion structure that allows product to glide on thin and even with just a light tapping motion. The teardrop shape makes it easy to reach curved areas like the inner corners of your eyes, sides of your nose, and around your mouth for seamless coverage.
How to use as a damp puff
Fully saturate the puff under water, then squeeze it firmly with your hands to remove excess moisture. You want it damp to the touch, but not dripping. Apply foundation to the damp puff and tap it gently onto your skin—this prevents streaking and helps the base adhere with a hydrating, second-skin finish. The key is to bounce the puff lightly rather than rubbing or dragging it across your face for a smooth, natural texture.
Cleaning and drying after use
Wash your puff after each use with a gentle cleanser or dedicated puff cleanser. Dissolve the cleanser in lukewarm water, gently massage the puff to release trapped foundation, then rinse thoroughly several times under clean water. Avoid wringing or twisting, as this can distort the shape. Instead, press the puff between a towel to absorb moisture, then air-dry in a well-ventilated area.
Perfect match for liquid and cushion formulas
Made from hydrophilic polyurethane, this puff works beautifully with liquid foundation, cushion compacts, and BB creams. Using it damp reduces product absorption, so you'll use less foundation per application. For powder formulas, we recommend using it dry or switching to a brush.
Hygiene care and replacement timing
The Rubycell material has passed antibacterial and anti-fungal resistance testing, but for hygiene purposes, do not share with others. Store it in the included case to protect it from dust and contamination. Keep it away from high heat and direct sunlight. Replace your puff when it starts to tear or loses its bounce.
