A pore-refining ampoule for the essence or serum step
Use after cleansing and toning to prep your skin. Because this formula contains retinal, it's best applied during the middle of your routine — smooth on a thin layer, then seal it in with your moisturizer. For a complete pore-care system, pair it with the matching foam cleanser and pads from the same line.
Evening use only
Due to the nature of retinal, this ampoule is recommended for nighttime use only. Daytime application may cause irritation when exposed to UV rays, so always use it after your evening cleanse. The following morning, be diligent about applying sunscreen to protect your skin.
Start slow and build tolerance gradually
If you're new to retinal, follow the 2-3-1 guide. For the first 1–2 weeks, use a rice grain-sized amount every other day, applying thinly only to areas of concern. After 2–3 weeks, if there's no redness or stinging, increase to 3–4 times per week. Once your skin has fully adapted, you can use it every evening — dispense 1–2 pumps and gently pat it into the entire face.
Recommended for pores and loss of firmness
This ampoule is ideal if you:
- Are concerned about enlarged or stretched pores
- Notice vertical pores due to loss of skin elasticity
- Experience makeup lifting or rough skin texture
- Are a retinal beginner looking for a gentle introduction
Formulated with 5% niacinamide to help offset retinal's drying effect, and clinically tested for low irritation (irritation index 0.00), making it suitable for sensitive skin to try.
Important precautions when using retinal
Avoid using on the same day as vitamin C products or exfoliating acids like AHA or BHA, as this may cause irritation. During the initial phase, you may experience redness, flaking, or tingling — this is a natural part of the skin's adjustment process. If discomfort becomes severe, reduce frequency or discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. After each use, close the cap tightly and store in a cool place away from direct sunlight (5–30°C).
