Liquified Gripping Wax that penetrates every hair contour at 34°C
Pjena Wax Strips are designed to temporarily soften when they reach body temperature (around 34°C), allowing the wax to seep into every curve and contour of the hair. This liquified gripping wax locks onto each strand firmly, delivering exceptional hair removal power from fine fuzz to underarm hair.
Best used in the evening, when skin is in good condition
After waxing, pores remain open and skin becomes more sensitive to irritation, so it's best to use the strips in the evening rather than before heading out. Avoid the days right before or after your period, or when your skin feels reactive. Choose a day when your skin is feeling balanced and calm.
Warm with body heat, then remove quickly against the hair growth
- Rub the strip between your palms for about 10 seconds to melt the wax with your body heat. In colder months, you may need to rub longer until the sheets separate smoothly.
- Smooth the strip over your skin 7 to 8 times in the direction of hair growth to ensure full contact, then hold your skin taut and pull the strip off quickly at a low angle, against the direction of hair growth.
- One strip can be reused multiple times while it still has grip.
Pre- and post-care tips by skin type
If you have sensitive skin, pre-treatment is essential. Apply a small amount of the 100% British almond oil onto a cotton pad, spread a thin layer over the area you plan to wax, then wipe away until no oily residue is visible. This creates a protective barrier on the skin. For dry skin, use the almond oil after waxing to remove any leftover wax while delivering a moisture boost at the same time. If you have oily skin, finish with a lightweight hydrating product after post-care to help calm the pores.
Storage and precautions
- Wax performance degrades when exposed to air, so always reseal the zipper pouch tightly after use.
- Do not use on areas with cuts, eczema, or dermatitis.
- If you experience redness, swelling, itching, or any unusual reaction during use, stop immediately and consult a dermatologist.
- Wax residue cannot be removed with water or body wash. Always use the strip you just used or almond oil to wipe it away.
