First step in your skincare routine: the first cleanse
Cleansing oil is used in the first cleanse to dissolve makeup and sunscreen. Follow up with a foam or gel cleanser for a second cleanse to thoroughly clear out any residue from your pores. On light makeup days, you can emulsify thoroughly and rinse with lukewarm water—this product alone will do the job.
An evening routine essential
We recommend this for your evening cleanse to melt away the makeup, sunscreen, and sebum that build up throughout the day. In the morning, you can also use it lightly when overnight oil feels like too much. The watery texture makes it comfortable for daily use without feeling heavy.
The 3-step cleanse, starting with dry hands
- Pump 3–4 times onto dry hands, then gently massage in circular motions all over your face to dissolve makeup and sebum
- Add a small amount of water and continue massaging until the oil emulsifies into a milky texture
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water for a clean, residue-free finish
If blackheads around your nose are a concern, spend a little extra time massaging that area.
Next steps by skin type
If you have oily or combination skin, follow with a lightweight water-type toner to balance oil and moisture. For sensitive skin, apply a calming essence right after cleansing to minimize irritation. If you have dry skin, apply a deeply hydrating toner immediately after cleansing to lock in moisture before it evaporates.
Usage notes
Formulated with green tea extract and green tea seed oil, this cleanser is gentle enough for most skin types. It has completed sensitivity and eye irritation tests, but if you experience any discomfort during use, discontinue and consult a dermatologist. The full-cap design prevents leaks, so you can take it with you worry-free.
