The First Step in Piercing Hole Care
If you notice an uncomfortable feeling or odor after removing your earrings or piercings, it could be due to sebum and buildup accumulating inside the ear hole. Przena Cleaner is designed with a specialized paper thread to help you thoroughly cleanse even the narrowest piercing channels.
How to Use the Paper Thread and Cleaner
Take out one paper thread, holding it carefully by the green section to avoid crushing it. The key is to dip it into the Przena Cleaner for just 1–3 seconds, then remove it immediately. If you leave it in too long, the thread may start to unravel. Gently insert the thread into your ear hole and rotate it as you pass it through. If you need a deeper cleanse, repeat the motion 3–4 times back and forth.
When Your Hole Is Too Narrow for the Thread
If the thread doesn't slide through easily, try gently widening the hole with an earring you normally wear, or pull your earlobe slightly downward as you insert the thread—it makes the process much smoother. Depending on your individual piercing structure, the paper thread may be difficult to use. In that case, consider the Przena Original product, which features an improved thread length and design.
Once a Day If You Wear Earrings Daily
It's best to cleanse on days you've worn earrings or piercings. If you wear earrings every day, we recommend cleansing once daily. For hygiene, discard the paper thread after a single use.
Gentle Enough for Sensitive Ears
This formula has completed a skin irritation test and is free from sulfate-based surfactants. With a formulation that has a near-neutral pH similar to skin, it's gentle enough to use around even the most sensitive ear area.
