Your first step for all-over base color
This brush is designed specifically for the first step of eye makeup: laying down your base shade. After applying eye primer, use it to sweep a light base shadow evenly across the entire lid. Its wide, flat shape allows you to cover the whole eye area in one smooth motion.
Lay it flat to sweep, stand it upright for precision
Load the brush with shadow, then tap once on the back of your hand to control the amount. To cover the entire lid, lay the brush flat and sweep it across in broad strokes. For added depth, use the tip of the brush to blend naturally toward the outer corner. You can also turn the brush on its edge to precisely place color along the lower lash line or in the outer V.
Wash weekly to maintain color payoff
Natural hair bristles (a blend of blue squirrel and goat hair) should be washed once a week with a dedicated brush cleanser or gentle shampoo. Swirl the bristles gently in lukewarm water mixed with cleanser, then lay the brush flat on a towel to air dry—never squeeze out the water. Drying it upright can cause moisture to seep into the handle and weaken the ferrule.
Perfect match for powder eyeshadow
The soft blend of blue squirrel and goat hair works beautifully with powder eyeshadows. It delivers even, fallout-free pigmentation and creates seamless, diffused definition. For cream or liquid shadows, the product may clump in the bristles—we recommend using your finger or a sponge applicator instead.
Protect the bristle shape with the included cover
Store your brush with the protective cover provided to prevent the bristles from getting crushed or splayed. Keep it in a cool place away from heat and direct sunlight, and avoid sharing for hygiene reasons. If the bristles start to fray or color application becomes uneven, it's time for a replacement.
