Clean natural hair brushes once or twice a week with a dedicated brush cleanser or mild shampoo. Dissolve cleanser in lukewarm water and gently swirl the bristles to wash. Do not wring out the water—lay the brush flat on a towel to air dry. Avoid drying upright, as water may seep into the handle.
