Cleansing, the first step in skincare
Cleansing water is the starting point of every skincare routine. Saturate a cotton pad and sweep away makeup and impurities, then follow with toner and the rest of your regimen. On heavy makeup days, double cleanse by starting with a cleansing oil, then finish with this for a truly clean slate.
Morning and night, no fuss
In the morning, use it to gently refresh skin and remove overnight oil and dead skin buildup. At night, it lifts away the day's makeup and pollution. The lightweight water texture leaves skin feeling fresh and never sticky, making it ideal for daily use.
Saturate your cotton pad and sweep gently
Pour enough product so your cotton pad is fully soaked. For the eye and lip areas, press the pad gently over makeup for about 5 seconds to dissolve it, then wipe outward. For the rest of your face, sweep from the center outward, following the natural contours of your skin. For an extra-clean finish, you can rinse lightly with lukewarm water.
What to layer next, by skin type
- Dry skin: Follow immediately with a deeply hydrating toner to lock in moisture and prevent water loss
- Sensitive skin: Layer a calming essence to extend the soothing benefits of centella
- Oily or combination skin: Use a lightweight water-based toner, then apply a light hydrating serum focused on the T-zone to restore balance
Notes on PHA-containing products
This formula contains PHA, a gentle exfoliating ingredient, and salicylic acid to help refine texture without irritation. However, using it on the same day as retinol or high-strength AHA products may cause sensitivity, so it's best to alternate. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and discontinue use if you experience redness or stinging.
