When to use your glucose-based modeling mask
Reach for this mask after sun exposure or outdoor activities, when your skin feels heated — that's when the cooling effect really shines. For best results, apply it right after cleansing on freshly prepped skin, and use it 1–2 times a week in the evening as a special treatment. It's also ideal when indoor heating or air conditioning leaves your skin feeling dry and reactive, delivering hydration and soothing care in one step.
The golden ratio: 8 scoops powder, 7 scoops water
Using the measuring spoon on the included water-control spatula, add 8 scoops of powder (approx. 30g) and 7 scoops of water (approx. 50ml) to your mixing bowl. If you have the 300g jar, the lid doubles as a convenient mixing bowl. Stir quickly with the spatula until smooth, then apply in this order: cheeks, jawline, forehead, nose. Make sure to apply a slightly thicker layer around the edges of your face so the mask peels off cleanly later.
Peel off in one piece after 15–20 minutes
Once the mask sets into a bouncy, jelly-like texture, it's ready to remove. Starting from under your chin, gently lift upward in one motion — the mask will lift away impurities as it comes off. Follow up with toner, essence, and cream to lock in hydration and nourishment.
Boost results with custom mixing liquids
Swap plain water for an ampoule or toner to amplify the mask's benefits. Tailor it to your skin type:
- Dry skin: Mix with hyaluronic acid ampoule for extra hydration
- Dull complexion: Use a vitamin C toner for tone-evening care
- Sensitive skin: Add a soothing essence to minimize irritation
Storage and precautions
Use within 6 months of opening and store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. If you've used the jar lid as a mixing bowl, wash it thoroughly and let it dry completely before closing. Avoid the eye area, and do not apply to broken skin or areas with active breakouts.
