A twist-to-dispense cleansing balm
Cleansing balms are the first step in your skincare routine, designed to melt away makeup and sunscreen during your initial cleanse. This one features a twist-up mechanism that dispenses just the right amount without a spatula, so your fingers never touch the product inside — keeping it hygienic from first use to last. Despite being a balm, the texture is cloud-like and cushiony, so it stays put without sliding off your skin.
The first step in your evening cleanse
This is ideal for evenings when you've worn makeup. Even on lighter days when you've only applied sunscreen, the oil-rich formula dissolves residue thoroughly. You can also use it in the morning if overnight sebum buildup is a concern, but it's primarily formulated for evening double-cleansing.
Twist to dispense, then massage in circular motions
Turn the base clockwise to dispense the balm, then apply it to dry skin and gently massage in circular motions to dissolve makeup. Once everything has melted, add a small amount of water to emulsify. The formula will turn milky white — that's your cue that emulsification is complete. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, and follow with a foam cleanser for your second cleanse if needed.
Tailoring the next step to your skin type
The finish is hydrating, so if you have dry skin, you can skip the second cleanse and go straight to toner without feeling tight. Combination or oily skin types may prefer a light foam cleanser focused on the T-zone afterward. If pore care is a priority, consider adding a BHA toner 2–3 times a week. Formulated with madecassoside and centella asiatica extract, it helps calm and comfort skin post-cleanse.
Storage and usage notes
Use within 12 months of opening and store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Due to the jar design, it may be difficult to use up the very last bit of product. The twist mechanism may feel stiff when you first open it — apply gentle pressure to both the top and bottom while turning, and it will loosen up. If redness or itching occurs during use, discontinue immediately and consult a dermatologist.
