Start with sebum control at the cleansing step
A foam cleanser is the first step in your skincare routine. Its mildly alkaline formula effectively tackles excess sebum, making it especially well-suited for evening cleansing if you have oily or blemish-prone skin. On makeup days, use a cleansing oil first, then follow up with this cleanser for a thoroughly clean finish.
Use morning and night
In the morning, it refreshes skin by clearing away sebum produced overnight. In the evening, it washes off the day's buildup of fine dust and sunscreen. With confirmed cleansing power of 83.8% for sunscreen and 99.24% for fine dust particles, it's effective enough to use on its own on light makeup days.
Gentle cleansing with rich, creamy foam
Dispense an appropriate amount into your palm, add water, and work into a full lather. Once you've built up a rich, creamy bubble, massage it over your entire face in circular motions for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Pay extra attention to sebum-prone areas like around the nose and jawline, and use a lighter touch around the eyes and lips. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Follow-up steps by skin type
- Oily and combination skin: After cleansing, follow with a lightweight toner, and use a pore-care product 2 to 3 times a week to help manage sebum
- Blemish-prone skin: Apply a thin layer of calming essence, then finish with a lightweight hydrating cream
- Dry skin: Since this cleanser has strong sebum-cleansing power, apply a deeply hydrating toner immediately after washing to prevent tightness
Points to keep in mind
Rubbing the product directly onto skin without lathering can cause irritation. Rinse with lukewarm water (30–35°C), and avoid hot water, which can disrupt your skin's moisture balance. You can also mix it with a clay mask for a scrub foam effect, as the brand suggests, but on sensitive days, it's best to use it on its own.
