Layer it in after toner, before moisturizer
Use this serum after toning, in the essence or serum step of your routine. Because it contains high concentrations of tranexamic acid and niacinamide, it absorbs best when applied to hydrated skin rather than bare skin. After applying the serum, follow with a moisturizer to lock in the active ingredients.
Safe for morning and evening use
Tranexamic acid is not photosensitive, so you can use this serum both morning and night. Since it's a brightening functional cosmetic, be sure to finish your morning routine with sunscreen. In the evening, use it as an intensive treatment to help address the day's accumulated stress on your skin.
Use about half a dropper for the full face
Dispense the serum with the dropper and dot it onto both cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin, then gently blend outward from the center of your face. For areas with visible dark spots or enlarged pores, lightly tap with your fingertips and apply a second layer for targeted care. The lightweight texture absorbs quickly without pilling.
Pairing suggestions by skin concern
- For dark spots and dull complexion: Alternate with a vitamin C serum by using vitamin C in the morning and this serum at night.
- For pores and excess oil: Use a BHA toner 2–3 times a week before applying this serum to boost pore-refining results.
- For dryness: Pair with a hyaluronic acid toner and seal everything in with a hydrating moisturizer.
A few things to keep in mind
This serum contains 5% niacinamide and is suitable for most skin types, but if you're sensitive to high-concentration actives, start with a small amount to test. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight after opening. If you experience redness or irritation, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.
