After toner, before moisturizer
Apply the serum right after toning, when your skin is prepped and receptive. It contains LHA (a gentle exfoliating acid) and PHA (another gentle exfoliating acid), which absorb best on freshly cleansed skin. Follow with your moisturizer to lock in the serum's active ingredients and help them stay close to the skin.
Morning and evening use
In the morning, use it to refine overnight sebum and surface buildup. In the evening, let it target the day's accumulated impurities. The lightweight, non-sticky texture layers beautifully under makeup without pilling or heaviness.
2–3 drops from the dropper, pressed in gently
Dispense 2–3 drops and dot them across both cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin. Press the serum in using your full palm, gently patting until absorbed. For areas where pores are a concern, apply a second layer for targeted care.
Routine pairings by skin concern
- For enlarged pores: Pair with a witch hazel toner to amplify pore-refining results
- For combination skin with uneven oil-moisture balance: Focus application on the T-zone, then layer a hydrating serum on the cheeks
- For flaky, buildup-prone skin: Use 2–3 times a week after exfoliating to boost absorption
Precautions when using exfoliating ingredients
This serum contains LHA and PHA. If you're new to these acids, start by using it every other day and monitor how your skin responds. Avoid using it on the same day as retinol or high-strength AHA products to prevent irritation—alternate days or separate morning and evening routines. If you experience redness or stinging, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.
