For redness and texture concerns: Jirisan Sambaekcho Soap
A handcrafted soap infused with Sambaekcho (Houttuynia cordata) grown in the Jirisan mountains. Sambaekcho thrives in humid environments and naturally retains moisture, making it ideal for dehydrated oily skin and texture concerns accompanied by redness. This all-in-one soap works for cleansing, scalp care, and body care, so you can also use it on breakout-prone areas like the back and chest where sebum production is high.
Safe for daily use, morning and night
In the morning, it gently removes sebum produced overnight. In the evening, it washes away impurities accumulated throughout the day. It's also suitable for combination skin with dry patches, so feel free to use it consistently.
Build a rich lather with a foaming net
Place the soap in a foaming net, add water, and work it into a dense, whipped-cream-like lather. Apply the generous foam all over your face, massage gently for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. For scalp use, apply the foam directly onto your scalp and massage with your fingertips. For sebum-prone areas like the back or chest, build up plenty of foam and use it in the shower.
Application tips by area
- Face: Apply foam and massage in circular motions, then rinse
- Scalp: Before shampooing, apply foam to scalp to gently cleanse impurities and sebum
- Body: Apply foam to breakout-prone areas like back and chest, massage, then rinse off
How to store natural soap and precautions
Prolonged exposure to water can cause the soap to soften or go rancid. After use, keep it in the foaming net and hang it up, or store it on a well-draining soap dish. Sambaekcho is a cooling ingredient by nature, so those with a cold constitution or pregnant women should avoid use. If you experience redness, swelling, itching, or other reactions during use, discontinue immediately and consult a dermatologist.
