Use at the essence or serum step
After cleansing and toning to prep your skin, apply this serum during your hydrating essence or serum step. Follow with a moisturizer to help lock in the active ingredients and ensure seamless adherence. For enhanced firming benefits, pair it with the bakuchiol cream from the same line.
Safe for morning and evening use, but separate from vitamin C
Unlike retinol, bakuchiol is not photosensitive, so you can use it both morning and night. However, if you're also using a vitamin C serum, layering high-concentration formulas at the same time may cause irritation. We recommend using vitamin C in the morning and this serum in the evening.
Apply 2–3 drops and gently smooth over the entire face
Dispense 2–3 drops with the dropper and dot onto your forehead, both cheeks, nose, and chin. Gently smooth outward from the center of your face. The serum has a bouncy, gel-like texture that stays put without sliding off. For areas where pores are a concern, lightly pat the serum in to help absorption.
Recommended combinations by skin concern
- Firming and pore care: Start with the peptide skin booster, follow with this serum, and finish with the bakuchiol cream
- Tone-evening and dark spot care: Use vitamin C serum in the morning and this serum in the evening to separate application times
- Hydration boost: Layer this serum over a hyaluronic acid toner to help target dehydration from within
Usage notes
This gentle formula has been tested on sensitive skin, but if it's your first time using it, patch-test with a small amount before full application. It contains 2% niacinamide and is compatible with most ingredients, but avoid using it at the same time as high-concentration vitamin C products. After opening, store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. If redness or irritation occurs during use, discontinue immediately.
