Exfoliation Step in Your Body Care Routine
Use this body scrub mid-shower. After cleansing with shampoo and body wash, follow with the scrub to slough away dead skin, then finish with body lotion or oil to lock in moisture. It's also gentle enough for facial use—just massage lightly after cleansing, before toner.
1–3 Times a Week, Adjusted to Your Skin
Oily skin can handle 2–3 times a week, while dry skin does best with once weekly. Daily use may compromise your skin barrier, so adjust frequency based on how your skin feels. Using it during a warm shower helps open pores for more effective exfoliation.
Open Pores with Warm Water and Massage Gently
Apply a generous amount to damp skin and spread it across your palms. Massage in circular motions—the salt granules will lift away built-up dead skin. Spend a little extra time on rough areas like elbows, knees, and heels, and use a lighter touch on the face. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Moisturizing Routine by Skin Type
- Dry skin: Apply body oil immediately after scrubbing, while skin is still damp, to seal in hydration
- Oily skin: Finish with a lightweight body lotion or mist for a fresh, non-greasy feel
- Sensitive skin: Follow up with a soothing lotion to replenish moisture and calm the skin
Precautions and Storage
Avoid the eye area. If product gets into eyes, rinse immediately with clean water. Sensitive or dry skin may experience irritation after exfoliation—always follow with ample moisture. If redness, itching, or swelling occurs, discontinue use right away. After each use, close the lid tightly and store in a cool place away from high heat and direct sunlight.
