ROOTON Women's Hair Care Alpha erguen Shampoo 500ml

A hair loss relief shampoo designed for women's scalp

This is a functional shampoo developed specifically for the unique characteristics of women's scalp, which differ from men's. Women's skin layers average 1.21mm in thickness—thinner and more sensitive than men's (1.54mm)—and this formula was designed with that in mind. Winner of the 2025 Forbes Korea Customer Trust No.1 Premium Award in the Women's Scalp Care category, it uses vegan-derived surfactants to cleanse the scalp gently yet thoroughly while balancing oil and moisture levels.

Scalp improvement effects confirmed through clinical testing

A human application test conducted on 20 adult women showed meaningful results.

• 75.1% improvement in hair loss after 4 weeks of use
• 64.2% improvement in scalp flaking after 2 weeks of use
• 45.2% improvement in scalp dandruff and itchiness after 2 weeks of use

It received an Excellent grade from Dermatest Germany, verifying its safety and gentleness on the scalp. This is a functional cosmetic for hair loss relief, reported to and recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

Gentle formulation with dual vegan certification

Certified vegan by both The Vegan Society (UK) and the Korea Agency of Vegan Certification and Services, this formula is made entirely from plant-based ingredients with no animal-derived components. The RT Complex, a blend of 16 botanical extracts, helps care for scalp condition, while a blend of vegan aroma oils delivers a subtle, natural scent. Recommended for those concerned with scalp dryness, itchiness, or hair loss.

Gentle, pH-balanced cleansing designed for women's scalps

Effective scalp care starts with a clean foundation. This shampoo is formulated with a mildly acidic pH tailored to the thinner, more sensitive structure of women's scalps, and has been reported to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as a functional cosmetic for helping to relieve hair loss symptoms. Clinical testing showed a 75.1% improvement in hair fall after 4 weeks of use, a 64.2% reduction in scalp flaking after 2 weeks, and a 45.2% improvement in dandruff and itchiness.

Evening cleanse to reset your scalp

An evening shampoo is most effective for washing away the sebum and styling residue that build up throughout the day. If your scalp tends to be especially oily or after a workout, you can use it lightly in the morning too, but one thorough evening cleanse is gentler on the scalp than twice-daily washing.

Lather and massage, focusing on the scalp

Apply a moderate amount to wet hair and work it into a rich lather in your palms first. Once you've built up the foam, apply it to your scalp and gently massage in circular motions with your fingertips for 1 to 2 minutes. Focus the cleansing on the scalp rather than the hair ends, and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water to ensure no residue is left behind.

Tailored routines for different scalp concerns

• If hair loss is a concern: After shampooing, apply a hair tonic from the same line directly to the scalp for targeted care
• If your scalp is dry and flaky: Use a treatment from mid-lengths to ends to replenish moisture and protein
• If you're dealing with dandruff and itchiness: Leave the lather on your scalp for about a minute before rinsing for better results

Usage precautions and storage

Always rinse thoroughly with water after use. Leaving residue behind can actually contribute to hair loss or discoloration. If the product gets into your eyes, rinse immediately. If you notice redness, itching, or other irritation on your scalp, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and use within 12 months of opening. This product has earned a Dermatest Excellence rating from Germany and dual vegan certification from the UK and Korea, so it's safe even for sensitive scalps.
