At the end of your shower routine, during body cleansing
After your initial cleanse with body wash or soap, use the brush to thoroughly cleanse hard-to-reach areas like your back, chest, and buttocks. The 40 cm long handle makes it easy to reach your entire back without straining. If you prefer dry brushing, you can also use it on dry skin before showering.
Two ways to use: wet brushing and dry brushing
- Wet brushing: Thoroughly wet the boar bristles, apply shower gel, lather with your hands, then gently massage in circular motions. If the bristles feel stiff during first use, soak them in lukewarm water for a few minutes to soften.
- Dry brushing: On dry skin, start from areas farthest from your heart (fingertips, toes) and sweep upward toward your heart. The key is not to press too hard.
Air-dry in the shade after each use
After showering, rinse the bristles thoroughly under running water to remove any remaining lather. Shake off excess water, then hang by the loop to air-dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area to maintain the bristles' resilience. Avoid leaving it in the bathroom, as humidity can lead to mold growth.
Pair with your body wash or scrub
Use with your favorite shower gel or body scrub to create a richer lather and boost cleansing performance. The resilient natural boar bristles, up to 20 mm in length, help sweep away buildup from within the pores.
Understand and care for natural bristles
Because boar bristles are a natural material, some shedding during use is normal. If you have sensitive skin, test gently on a small area first, and avoid dry brushing if you experience any irritation. The FSC-certified maple wood handle offers a secure, non-slip grip even when wet.
