After toner, before moisturizer
Use this serum after cleansing and toning, and before applying your moisturizer. If you layer multiple essences or ampoules, apply them from lightest to richest in texture. This serum has a concentrated gel formula that spreads like water, so it works beautifully on its own or layered after a lightweight essence.
Morning and evening use
Even though it contains vitamin C, this serum has been dermatologist-tested for gentleness and can be used both morning and night. That said, if you apply it in the morning, always follow with sunscreen. Vitamin C helps protect against UV-induced oxidation, but pairing it with SPF is essential to see its full brightening benefits.
Apply evenly across the face
Pump once or twice into your palm and smooth evenly over your entire face. For areas with visible dark spots or hyperpigmentation, gently pat a little extra with your fingertips to help it absorb. Despite the gel texture, it sinks in quickly without any sticky residue and layers seamlessly with the rest of your routine.
Recommended combinations by skin concern
- For hyperpigmentation: Pair with a niacinamide-rich toner and add a gentle exfoliator once or twice a week to help even out skin tone
- For dryness: The 8 types of hyaluronic acid provide solid hydration on their own, so a moisturizer on top is usually enough — but if your skin needs more, layer a hyaluronic acid toner underneath
- For irritated skin days: Formulated with soothing ingredients like buckwheat extract and fig extract, it's gentle enough to use even when your skin feels sensitive
Ingredient pairing caution
Avoid using this serum at the same time as high-strength retinol, AHA, or BHA products, as this may cause irritation. If you use retinol, apply it in the evening and save this serum for the morning, or alternate days. Use within 12 months of opening and store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
