Use right after cleansing, before toner
Peeling pads are designed to be used after your cleanser and before your toner. By sweeping away leftover residue and dead skin cells post-cleanse, you create a clean canvas that allows your toner, essence, and cream to absorb far more effectively. Think of it as setting the foundation for the rest of your skincare routine.
Safe for daily use, morning and night
Formulated at a skin-friendly pH 5.5 and enriched with 71% rice bran water, these pads are gentle enough for everyday use. In the morning, they clear away overnight buildup to help makeup sit smoothly. In the evening, they remove any lingering traces your cleanser may have missed.
Exfoliate with the embossed side, soothe with the smooth side
Slip a pad onto your fingers and gently sweep the embossed side across your entire face, avoiding the eye area. Pay extra attention to textured zones like the sides of your nose and around your mouth. Finish by flipping the pad over and lightly patting the smooth side onto your skin to calm and comfort. On days when blackheads are bothering you, place a pad over your nose for 1–2 minutes to soften buildup, then gently nudge it away with a cotton swab.
Pair with the right next step for your skin concern
- Dry skin: Follow immediately with a deeply hydrating toner to lock in moisture.
- Oily or combination skin: Layer a lightweight water-based toner, then apply a serum only to your T-zone for balanced care.
- Dull complexion: Add a niacinamide or vitamin C serum in the next step to boost radiance.
Contains AHA and BHA — a few things to keep in mind
This pad includes glycolic acid (an AHA that exfoliates the surface), lactic acid (another AHA), and betaine salicylate (a BHA that dissolves pore-clogging debris). The concentrations are low enough for daily use, but avoid using retinol products at the same time to prevent irritation — separate them by time of day. Always apply sunscreen if you're heading outdoors after use, and discontinue if you experience redness or stinging.
