At the final stage of base makeup
Right after applying foundation or cushion, use the puff to gently press and blend the product into your skin for seamless adherence. It's also great for softening the edges after concealer application. For the most even finish, apply your base with your fingers or a brush first, then go over it with the puff to smooth out any texture.
Use different surfaces for different areas
- Flat surface: For quickly bouncing product across larger areas like cheeks, forehead, and chin
- Pointed tip: For precise blending around curved areas like the sides of the nose, under-eyes, and corners of the mouth
The key to flawless adherence is to tap lightly rather than drag or rub the puff across your skin.
Control moisture level for two different finishes
For a dewy, luminous look, dampen the puff thoroughly with water and squeeze out the excess before use. The puff will expand slightly and help sheer out your foundation for a glowing finish. For a more matte, velvety result, use the puff dry.
Wash 1–2 times a week for hygiene
Clean your puff with a dedicated cleanser or gentle soap in lukewarm water, gently massaging to release buildup. Avoid wringing or twisting, as this can distort the shape. Instead, press it between a towel to remove excess water, then air-dry completely in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Proper storage extends its lifespan
Store in a cool place away from heat and direct sunlight. A breathable mesh pouch or open space is better than a sealed case. Replace the puff when it loses its bounce or the surface begins to show signs of wear. And for hygiene reasons, avoid sharing with others.
