Apply as the final step in your skincare routine, focusing on the eye area
Use this eye cream as the last step in your skincare routine. After applying toner, essence, serum, and face cream, apply it specifically to the eye area. If you apply it before your face cream, subsequent products may push it around the delicate eye zone, so follow the correct order.
Best used in your evening routine
This formula contains retinol, so we recommend using it after your evening cleanse. If you need to use it during the day, make sure to apply sunscreen thoroughly. Retinol can increase sensitivity to UV exposure.
Dispense a small amount and gently pat to absorb
Take a small amount on your fingertip and dot it under the eyes, at the outer corners, and along the upper eyelid. Using your fingertip, gently pat from the inner to outer eye area to help absorption. You can also apply it to other areas of concern like smile lines, between the brows, or the neck.
Routine combinations by skin concern
- For loss of firmness around the eyes: Apply a collagen or peptide serum first, then seal it in with this eye cream
- To target dark circles too: This product completed a 2-week clinical study showing improvement in dark circles, so use it consistently for best results
- On extra dry days: Apply a generous layer of your moisturizer first, then follow with this eye cream to reinforce the moisture barrier
Precautions when using retinol
If this is your first time using retinol, patch test a small amount on the inner arm to check for sensitivity. Retinol combined with AHA, BHA, or high-concentration vitamin C on the same day may cause irritation, so separate them by time of day or alternate usage. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and if you experience redness or stinging during use, discontinue and consult a dermatologist.
