After scaling, your shampoo will lather more richly, and any scalp ampoules or tonics you apply afterward will absorb more effectively.

Use 2–3 Times a Week, Right Before Shampooing

This isn't an everyday product—2 to 3 times a week is ideal. Reach for it on days when your scalp feels especially greasy or congested, or when you notice scalp odor. Evening use works best: apply before your nighttime shampoo to clear away the oil and buildup that's accumulated throughout the day.
