Prepping Hair Before Heat Styling
Before using your straightener, make sure your hair is completely dry. Applying heat to damp hair can cause serious damage. Brush through to remove any tangles, then mist on a heat protectant spray to help shield the cuticle from thermal stress.
Choosing the Right Temperature for Your Hair Type
Use the 7-level temperature control to select the setting that suits your hair.
- Severely damaged or fine hair: 110–130°C
- Moderately damaged hair: 150–170°C
- Healthy, normal hair: 180–190°C
- Thick, coarse hair: 200°C
If you're new to this tool, start at a lower temperature and observe how your hair responds before adjusting.
How to Use for a Sleek Finish
Work in small sections rather than trying to straighten too much hair at once. Place a section between the plates, then glide slowly from root to tip in a smooth, brushing motion for a glossy result. Avoid passing over the same section repeatedly—one or two passes is enough to prevent heat damage.
Safe Use and Storage Tips
The straightener will automatically shut off after 2 hours of inactivity, but always press and hold the power button to turn it off manually after use, and unplug it from the outlet. Let the plates cool completely before storing. Use the 360° swivel cord to keep the cable tangle-free—this simple habit helps extend the life of your tool.
