Designed for stamping nail art — not your regular polish
Special Polish isn't meant to be painted across the entire nail like regular nail lacquer. It's formulated with 5 times the viscosity of standard polish, specifically engineered to pick up and transfer intricate image plate designs with crisp, clean lines. Always apply your base color first, let it dry completely, then use this for pattern transfer only.
Speed is everything — from application to transfer
Special Polish dries within seconds, so you'll need to work quickly through each step.
- Apply polish evenly over your chosen pattern on the image plate
- Hold the scraper at a 45-degree angle and sweep it firmly in one direction to remove excess
- Press the stamper straight down onto the plate to pick up the design, then gently roll it onto your nail to transfer
Pro tips for crisp, clean transfers
When scraping, avoid pressing too hard or you'll remove polish from inside the etched grooves. Use moderate pressure and scrape in one smooth motion. When picking up the design with your stamper, press straight down and lift — don't drag or rub side to side, or the pattern will smudge. Finish with a top coat after transferring to boost longevity.
Cleaning your tools after use
As soon as you're done, wipe any remaining polish off the stamper head, scraper, and image plate with remover. Once it hardens, it becomes difficult to remove and can interfere with crisp transfers next time. Clean the plate gently with a soft cloth to avoid damaging the etched grooves.
Storage tips
Always close the polish cap tightly right after use. Exposure to air will thicken the formula even more, making it harder to work with. Store upright in a cool place away from direct sunlight. If it's been sitting unused for a while, give the bottle a gentle shake before use to remix the contents.
