For the first step of eye makeup: creating a base shadow
After prepping your eyelids with an eye primer or concealer, use this brush to apply your base shadow before layering on bolder accent colors. Starting with a base shade helps intensify the color payoff of shadows applied afterward and extends their lasting power.
Quick, even coverage across large areas
Load the brush with powder shadow, then tap once on the back of your hand to control the amount. Lay the brush flat across your lid and sweep gently from side to side to cover the entire area evenly. Two to three passes from inner to outer corner is usually enough. The key to a seamless finish is to let the weight of the brush do the work—no pressure needed.
Weekly cleansing for long-lasting performance
Wet the bristles with lukewarm water, then work a small amount of cleanser into the brush using circular motions on your palm or a cleansing pad. Rinse thoroughly under running water, gently press the bristles with a towel to remove excess moisture, and lay the brush flat with the bristles facing downward to air-dry. Avoid submerging the entire brush or pulling on the bristles, as this can cause damage.
Best for powder shadows and pressed glitters
Made with premium synthetic bristles, this brush is ideal for applying powder eyeshadows and pressed glitters with smooth, even coverage. Minimal fallout makes it comfortable to use around the delicate eye area. For cream shadows, we recommend using your fingertip or a sponge applicator instead.
Maintaining bristle shape for long-term use
After cleansing, gently reshape the bristles with your fingers to restore their original form. Store the brush in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, and when traveling, use a brush cap or protective case to prevent the bristles from getting crushed in your pouch.
