With 88% skincare ingredients, it can also be worn alone on light-outing days for a fresh, hydrated base.

Patented hydration complex meets barrier-care actives

The Aquaxyl complex, composed of xylitol, anhydroxylitol, and xylitylglucoside, draws moisture into the skin, while plant-derived squalane and ceramide NP support the skin barrier. Botanical extracts like centella asiatica, fig, and comfrey leaf, along with lactobacillus and bifida ferment, keep skin comfortable throughout the day, even under makeup.

Recommended for dry skin that struggles with makeup application

Ideal for skin that feels tight during seasonal transitions or winter, or when foundation tends to lift or settle into dry patches. Layer it after a non-tinted sunscreen, or use it before a tone-evening sunscreen. Gently press and smooth a thin layer from the center of your face outward with your fingertips, let it absorb, and your foundation will glide on effortlessly over the plush, hydrated surface.

After skincare, before foundation

This is a hydrating base prep designed to sit between your sunscreen and foundation. You can apply a non-tinted, hydrating sunscreen first, then layer the DD Prep on top — or reverse the order by applying the DD Prep first, followed by a tone-evening sunscreen. With 88% skincare ingredients, it's gentle enough to use on its own on light makeup days, even in place of your usual base routine.

Apply a thin, even layer from the center outward

Dispense a small amount onto the back of your hand, then smooth it outward from the center of your face in a thin, even layer. Pat gently with your fingertips to help it absorb, or use a foundation brush for seamless application. It forms a supple moisture veil that helps the next layer of base makeup adhere beautifully.

Storage and cleansing tips

Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and use within 36 months of opening. A regular foam cleanser is usually enough to remove it, but on days when you've layered it with foundation, we recommend starting with a cleansing oil or milk to dissolve everything, then following up with a second cleanse.
