Start with brow tinting before makeup
It's best to tint your brows before you begin your makeup routine. After cleansing, make sure the brow area is completely dry so the tint adheres evenly. Once tinting is complete, you can move on to base makeup and it'll be easier to balance your overall tone.
20-minute easy at-home tinting
First, apply a generous layer of the included barrier cream around your brows to protect the skin. Pour Agent 2 into the cap of Agent 1 and mix in a 1:1 ratio, then apply evenly along the direction of your brow hairs. Wait about 20 minutes, then gently wipe a small section to check the color payoff. If you want a more intense shade, leave it on for an additional 5 to 8 minutes. Do not exceed 30 minutes total.
How to style your brow color by occasion
- For everyday looks, a 20-minute tint gives you a natural ash brown tone
- For office looks, a soft muted tone creates a polished, put-together impression
- When matching with lighter hair color, tinting your brows to a similar tone helps create overall harmony
Products to use together
After tinting, you can extend color longevity with a brow coating product. If there are sparse areas, fill them in naturally with a brow pencil in the same tone. Use the included reusable brush to groom your brow hairs for a clean finish.
Safety precautions for use
Before use, perform a patch test on the inside of your wrist to check for any skin reaction. Be careful not to get the tint in your eyes, and note that color payoff may vary depending on your hair texture and thickness, so we recommend testing on a less visible area first. Tinting results can last up to 6 weeks, and it's best to use the product promptly after opening.
