The final step in your skincare routine: sun protection
Sunscreen is the finishing touch to every skincare routine. After you've completed your cleansing, toning, serum, and moisturizer steps, apply this as the very last layer. On makeup days, follow with your base makeup right after sunscreen.
Essential before morning outings, reapply throughout the day
Apply 20 to 30 minutes before heading out to give it time to settle into skin. If you're spending extended time outdoors or sweating heavily, reapply every 2 to 3 hours to maintain protection. Even indoors, UV rays can reach you near windows, so make sure to apply at least once in the morning.
Apply an even, generous layer
Dispense about one to two finger-lengths of product and dot it across your forehead, both cheeks, nose, and chin. Gently blend outward from the center of your face, and don't forget areas that are easily exposed to UV rays: behind the ears, neck, and along the hairline. Thanks to its organic UV filter formula, it finishes seamlessly with no white cast.
Pairing tips by skin type
- Dehydrated oily skin: Layer over a lightweight hydrating serum to lock in moisture all day
- Combination skin: Pair with a low-oil lotion-type moisturizer to keep your T-zone shine-free and fresh
- Normal skin: Simply add it as the final step in your usual routine
Important usage notes
This formula contains niacinamide, a tone-evening ingredient that plays well with most actives. However, layering multiple high-concentration products may cause redness in sensitive skin types. After opening, store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. If you experience red spots or itching during use, discontinue immediately and consult a dermatologist.
