Use after toner, before serum
Buffer Cream is designed to be applied after toner and before your serum or ampoule. For best results, apply the first layer while skin is still slightly damp from cleansing. The lamellar emulsion structure mimics your skin's natural lipid layers, helping it absorb more effectively and prepping skin to receive the next step. On days when you skip essence or serum, you can also use this cream as your final step right after toner.
Suitable for morning and evening use
In the morning, it acts as an antioxidant base that helps protect skin from UV exposure and environmental stressors. In the evening, it targets oxidative stress accumulated throughout the day. With ferulic acid, vitamin C derivatives, and tocopherol working together, it delivers antioxidant care any time of day.
Layer it once or twice on damp skin right after cleansing
- First layer: Apply an appropriate amount all over your face while skin is still damp from cleansing
- Second layer: Once the first layer has absorbed and feels soft to the touch, reapply to areas that feel dry
- On particularly tight or dehydrated days, you can layer up to three times without feeling heavy
Routine pairings by skin concern
If dullness is your main concern, pair it with a niacinamide serum to boost tone-evening results. For dry, tight skin, start with a ceramide toner to build a strong moisture foundation, then follow with this cream to lock in hydration for longer. If you're focusing on early aging care, use it in your evening routine alongside an antioxidant ampoule to target skin texture.
Storage and usage notes
Because it contains ferulic acid and vitamin C derivatives, store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. After opening, make sure to close the lid tightly to minimize air exposure. If you experience redness or irritation during use, discontinue and consult a dermatologist.
