Adding Dimension at the Final Stage of Base Makeup
Use this after you've completed your foundation and concealer base, and finished contouring or blush. Apply before setting powder for a hydrating, subtle glow, or after setting powder for a more defined, glossy finish.
Using the Flat Surface and Tip Separately
Load the brush with highlighter, then tap once on the back of your hand to control the amount. Here's how to use it by area:
- For the tops of your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, and brow bone, sweep gently using the full flat surface of the brush
- For smaller areas like your cupid's bow and chin tip, use just the brush tip for precise placement
- Don't press hard—let the weight of the brush do the work for a natural, streak-free finish
Weekly Cleaning to Maintain Color Payoff
Clean your natural hair brush once a week with a dedicated brush cleanser or gentle shampoo. Dissolve cleanser in lukewarm water and gently swirl the bristles to wash, then lay flat on a towel to air dry without squeezing out the water. Drying upright can allow water to seep into the handle.
For Powder Highlighters and Blushes
The soft goat hair bristles work beautifully with powder formulas. This is a multi-use brush that works not only for highlighter but also for powder blush. For cream or liquid formulas, we recommend using a sponge, as product can clump in the bristles.
Protecting Bristle Shape with the Included Cover
Store your brush with the included cover to prevent the bristles from getting crushed or splayed. Keep it in a cool place away from heat and direct sunlight, and replace when bristles start to fray or color application becomes uneven.
