Oil Cleansing for Blackhead Care
Cleansing oil is the very first step in your skincare routine. It acts as your first cleanse, dissolving makeup and sunscreen, and when followed by a foam cleanser as your second cleanse, it helps clear out impurities deep within the pores. With 89% plant-based oils from 12 botanical sources, it cleanses while leaving skin comfortably hydrated.
Focus on Evening Cleansing
Use this in your evening routine to remove the makeup, sebum, and impurities that build up throughout the day. In the morning, a gentle foam cleanser is usually enough, but at night, we recommend a thorough deep cleanse with this product.
Start with Dry Hands and Dry Skin
Dispense an appropriate amount onto dry skin, then gently massage in circular motions, focusing on sebum-prone areas like the nose and chin. After massaging for 1 to 2 minutes, you'll feel blackheads and sebum start to dissolve. Add a small amount of lukewarm water to emulsify, rinse thoroughly, and finish with a foam cleanser.
Routine Pairings by Skin Concern
- Blackhead-focused care: Use a BHA toner 2 to 3 times a week after cleansing to help refine pores
- Dry skin: Follow cleansing immediately with a deeply hydrating toner and ceramide cream to lock in moisture
- Oily skin: Try a lightweight water-type toner followed by a fresh hydrating serum to balance oil and moisture levels
