The first step in your skincare routine: cleansing
A cleansing foam is where every skincare routine begins. On makeup days, use this as your second cleanse after an oil or micellar water to thoroughly clear away any residue left deep in your pores.
Morning and evening use
In the morning, it gently removes sebum that builds up overnight. In the evening, it washes away the day's impurities. The mildly alkaline formula (pH 8–9) effectively cleanses oxidized pore sebum while respecting your skin's protective barrier.
A pea-sized amount is all you need
Wet your hands, dispense a pea-sized amount, and work it into a rich lather. Once you've built up a soft, cloud-like foam, massage it gently over your face in circular motions. The centella leaf powder dissolves into the foam and helps refine texture, so focus on rolling the foam across your skin rather than scrubbing. Pay extra attention to the sides of your nose and jawline, keep it light around the eyes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Cleansing tip for acne-prone skin
If breakouts are a concern, apply the foam to problem areas and let it sit for about 30 seconds before rinsing. This gives the salicylic acid time to dissolve sebum and impurities inside the pores. However, if you have active inflammation, keep contact gentle to avoid irritation.
Salicylic acid precautions
This formula contains salicylic acid (BHA, which helps dissolve pore buildup), so daily use may lead to dryness depending on your skin's condition. Avoid use if you have a known sensitivity to salicylic acid, are pregnant or may become pregnant, or have diabetes or circulatory issues. Store away from direct sunlight. If redness, itching, or other reactions occur after use, discontinue immediately and consult a dermatologist.
