After toner, before essence or cream
Serums are applied right after toning, once your skin texture is prepped. With 20% niacinamide and 1% zinc PCA in a highly concentrated formula, this is more of a targeted treatment than a hydrating essence. After the serum absorbs, follow with your cream or moisturizer to lock everything in.
Suitable for morning and evening use
If sebum control and pore care are your main concerns, feel free to use this twice daily. When applying in the morning, always follow with sunscreen, as niacinamide can increase sun sensitivity. In the evening, cleanse thoroughly to remove the day's buildup first — this helps the serum absorb more effectively.
Dispense a small amount and spread thinly
This is a concentrated formula with some viscosity, so using too much at once can slow absorption. Dispense 1–2 pumps onto your palm, dot onto both cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin, then gently blend outward from the center of your face. For areas where pores are more visible, like the T-zone, you can apply a second light layer.
Routine pairings by pore concern
- Excess sebum and enlarged pores: Use after a lightweight hydrating toner, then seal with an oil-free moisture gel
- Loss of elasticity and elongated pores: Pair with a collagen or peptide cream for a tightening boost
- Hyperpigmentation and pigmented pores: Alternate with a vitamin C serum at different times of day to amplify brightening results
Precautions when using high-concentration niacinamide
This formula contains 20% niacinamide, which is on the higher end. If you're new to this ingredient, patch-test a small amount on your inner arm first and adjust usage accordingly. Sensitive skin may experience temporary redness, so we recommend starting with every-other-day application and monitoring your skin's response. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and discontinue use if irritation occurs — consult a dermatologist if needed.
