When adding glow at the final stage of base makeup
Complete your base with foundation and concealer, set with powder, then apply highlighter. For a more natural-looking dimension on the cheeks, apply your blush first, then layer highlighter on top. You can use it before or after eye makeup — either works.
Precise application with a small brush
The pans are on the smaller side, so using a narrow highlighter brush lets you place color exactly where you want it. Load the brush with product, tap lightly on the back of your hand to control the amount, then build it up on the high points of your face — tops of cheekbones, bridge of the nose, inner corners of the eyes. The more you layer, the smoother and more seamless the finish, so adjust to your desired level of glow.
Adapting your highlighter look to the occasion
- For everyday makeup, use shades close to your skin tone like Toe Shoes or Tights for a subtle, natural glow
- For the office, lightly touch the bridge of your nose and just below the brow bone for understated dimension
- For evening events or parties, use color-rich shades like Pink Tutu or Purple Stage as a pop on the inner corners or aegyo-sal for a fresh, luminous effect
A multi-use palette that works as blush and shadow too
Spotlight and Finale double beautifully as blush-highlighters to add a healthy flush to the cheeks. Blue Beam and Purple Stage create a dreamy, ethereal look when applied to the inner corners, and Shadow Play works as a contouring shadow along the outer corners of the eyes.
Storage and cleansing tips for long-lasting use
The powder formula can shatter if dropped, so handle with care. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high heat, as this may alter the color — store in a cool, dark place. We recommend using within 12 months of opening. A regular foam cleanser is usually enough to remove, but if shimmer lingers, start with a cleansing oil.
