Targeted coverage before or after base makeup
For a seamless finish, apply directly to dark spots before foundation or cushion — it blends right in. You can also cover larger areas with a liquid concealer first, then use the pencil to precisely target stubborn spots. If you've applied oil-rich skincare, wait until after foundation to apply the concealer for better staying power.
Precise application by concern
For small spots like freckles, sun spots, or hyperpigmentation, tap the pencil tip directly onto the area, then gently diffuse the edges with your fingertip or a brush. The matte, solid texture delivers high coverage, but avoid pressing too hard with the pointed tip — lay it flat and glide gently to prevent irritation. For redness around the nose, lightly blend along the edges for natural-looking coverage.
Beyond concealing: multi-use tips
- Aegyo-sal definition: Draw a subtle shadow with a brow pencil, then add dimension with the concealer pencil on the raised area below your eyes
- Lip line clean-up: Trace along the lip contour to prevent feathering and keep your lipstick crisp
- Brow definition: Apply just below the brow bone to sharpen and lift the eye area
Shade selection by skin tone and concern
To neutralize redness or blue-toned veins, choose MC502, one shade lighter than your skin tone. For dark spots, hyperpigmentation, or small moles, opt for MC501 or MC503 — shades that match or are slightly deeper than your natural tone. MC502 suits fair skin, MC501 works well on medium skin, and MC503 is ideal for deeper complexions.
Maintaining peak performance
