Use only on fully healed skin
Medireturn Gel Scar Ointment is a medical device designed to help manage hypertrophic and keloid scars. It should not be applied to open wounds or areas with discharge. Begin application only after the wound has completely healed. For post-surgical scars, wait until stitches are removed and the skin has stabilized so the silicone protective layer can form properly.
Twice daily, morning and evening, for best results
Consistency is key when it comes to scar care. Build a routine of applying the gel twice a day, morning and evening. After your morning application, wait until the gel is fully dry before layering sunscreen or makeup on top.
Apply a rice grain-sized amount in a thin, even layer
Cleanse the scar area and make sure it's completely dry. Dispense a small amount, about the size of a grain of rice, and spread it thinly and evenly over the scar. Applying too much can extend drying time and reduce adherence. Allow approximately 1 minute for the gel to air-dry and form a transparent protective film.
How to use by scar type
- C-section scars: Start using after stitches are removed and the wound has fully healed
- Acne scars: Apply once inflammation has subsided and scabs have fallen off naturally
- Keloid scars: Long-term, consistent care is essential, so daily use without skipping is recommended
Storage and precautions
Store at room temperature and use within 1 year of opening. Do not use on open wounds, mucous membranes, or infected skin. If redness, itching, or any adverse reaction occurs during use, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
