Use after toner, during the essence or serum step
After cleansing and toning to prep your skin, apply while skin is still slightly damp for better absorption. Follow with your cream or moisturizer. For enhanced brightening results, pair with the Dark Solution Cream from the same line.
Safe for morning and evening use, but always follow with SPF
Tranexamic acid and arbutin are both suitable for daytime routines. However, since UV exposure is a leading cause of hyperpigmentation, always apply sunscreen before heading out if you've used this serum in the morning. In the evening, use it as an intensive brightening step to help address the day's accumulated stress on your skin.
Apply a moderate amount, following the skin's natural texture
Dispense 1–2 pumps into your palm and gently smooth over the entire face, following your skin's texture. The formula is hydrating yet lightweight, absorbing quickly without any sticky residue. For areas with visible dark spots or hyperpigmentation, feel free to apply a second layer for targeted care.
Recommended routine combinations by skin concern
- For a dull complexion: Start with a niacinamide-infused toner → this serum → moisturizing cream to focus on brightening
- For dark spots and post-blemish marks: Layer this serum with the Dark Solution Cream to maximize synergy
- If dryness is also a concern: Follow the serum with a cream containing panthenol or ceramides to reinforce your moisture barrier
Patch test first if you have sensitive skin, and store in a cool place
If this is your first time using the product or you have sensitive skin, test on the inside of your wrist before applying to your face, and start with a small amount. When used alongside high-strength retinol or vitamin C products, irritation may occur—adjust the amount or separate application times accordingly. Arbutin is sensitive to light and heat, so always close the cap tightly after use and store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to prevent degradation.
