Use as the final step in your skincare routine
This is a cream formula, so apply it as the last step in your routine after toner, essence, and serum. If you're layering an oil or balm, apply this cream first, then seal everything in with your oil-based product.
Safe for morning and evening use, but always follow with SPF during the day
Tranexamic acid can be used in your morning routine. However, since UV exposure is a major trigger for hyperpigmentation, always apply sunscreen thoroughly before heading out if you've used this cream in the morning. In the evening, it works beautifully as an intensive treatment to help repair daily environmental stress.
Apply a moderate amount, following the natural texture of your skin
Dispense a small amount onto your fingertips and dot it across your forehead, both cheeks, nose, and chin. Gently spread from the center of your face outward, following your skin's natural texture, then press your palms lightly over your face to help the cream absorb. If this is your first time using it, start with a smaller amount and gradually increase as your skin adjusts.
Recommended routine pairings by skin concern
- For a dull complexion: Layer a vitamin C serum underneath this cream to amplify brightening results
- For dark spots and pore pigmentation: Pair with a niacinamide-infused toner to enhance tone-evening effects
- For dryness: Prep skin with a hyaluronic acid essence first to lock in deep hydration before applying this cream
Storage and usage precautions
This formula contains pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid), which is sensitive to light and heat. Always close the lid tightly after use and store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. If you have sensitive skin, patch-test on the inside of your wrist before full application. When using alongside high-strength retinol products, adjust the amount to minimize potential irritation.
