Use after toner, during the essence step
Vita C Source is a highly concentrated vitamin C ampoule designed to be used after cleansing and toning, during the essence step of your routine. With 20% pure vitamin C, it absorbs best when applied directly to freshly toned skin. Follow with a hydrating cream or moisturizer to lock everything in.
Safe for morning and evening use, but always pair with SPF during the day
You can use it in both your morning and evening routines. However, because vitamin C is sensitive to UV exposure, always apply sunscreen when using it in the morning. In the evening, it works beautifully to help address the day's accumulated skin stress.
Apply 2–3 drops lightly across the face
Dispense 2–3 drops into your palm and gently press it across your entire face. For areas where dullness is more noticeable, apply a second layer for targeted care. The formula has a clear, lightweight serum texture that absorbs quickly and leaves a smooth, seamless finish on the skin.
Routine pairings by skin concern
- For a dull complexion: Try layering a niacinamide toner → Vita C Source → hydrating cream for a brightening-focused routine
- If dryness is also a concern: Follow Vita C Source with a hyaluronic acid serum, then seal with a moisture cream to keep skin hydrated longer
- For refining skin texture: Use Vita C Source 1–2 times a week after a gentle exfoliating treatment for a smoother, more even surface
High-potency vitamin C: a few things to keep in mind
Avoid using it at the same time as high-strength AHA, BHA, or retinol products. Due to the pH difference between vitamin C and your skin, you may experience a temporary tingling sensation during first use. If this happens, mix 1–2 drops into your toner before applying to minimize sensitivity. The formula is sensitive to direct sunlight and temperature changes, so store it in a cool, room-temperature spot—or in the fridge to extend freshness even longer. Always close the cap tightly after use.
