Use as the final step in your skincare routine
Apply this cream as the last step in your routine, after toner, essence, and serum. Its role is to seal in all the hydration and active ingredients you've layered on before. Work from lightest to richest textures, and finish with this cream to lock everything in.
Safe for morning and evening use, but always follow with SPF in the AM
Though it contains retinol, this formula has completed low-irritation testing and can be used both morning and night. That said, retinol can increase sun sensitivity, so if you apply it in the morning, always follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
Apply a thin, even layer and let it absorb
Using a spatula or clean fingers, take a moderate amount and spread it thinly across your entire face. For areas where pores are a concern, like around the nose and cheeks, gently pat the cream in for better absorption. The key is to apply a light, even layer rather than a heavy coat.
Targeted application by skin concern
- If enlarged pores are your main concern, apply a bit more carefully around the nose and cheek area
- For a dull complexion, consistent use helps you experience the brightening benefits of niacinamide over time
- If your skin feels less firm, massage the cream upward along the jawline and cheeks to help support absorption
Precautions when using retinol
If you have extremely sensitive skin, start by mixing a small amount into your regular cream for the first 1–2 weeks. Once your skin adjusts, you can gradually increase the amount and use it on its own. Because retinol is sensitive to light and air, always close the lid tightly after use and store in a cool place. If you experience redness or discomfort, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.
