The first step in your skincare routine: cleansing
A cleanser is where every skincare routine begins. Only when your skin is thoroughly cleansed can your toner, serum, and cream absorb properly. On makeup days, use a cleansing oil first, then follow with this cleanser for a complete double cleanse. It's been clinically tested to remove sunscreen, so on days when you've only worn a lightweight SPF, you can use it on its own.
Gentle, pH-balanced formula for daily use, morning and night
With a mildly acidic pH of 5.5–6.5, this formula is gentle enough for twice-daily use. In the morning, it washes away sebum produced overnight. In the evening, it removes ultrafine dust and sunscreen accumulated throughout the day. Clinically proven to cleanse 99.9% of ultrafine particulate matter.
Massage gently with a rich, cushiony lather
Wet your hands, dispense an appropriate amount, and work into a full lather. The creamy formula, enriched with French blue clay, builds into a dense foam. Massage gently over your entire face in circular motions for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Pay extra attention to the sides of your nose and jawline, and use a lighter touch around the eye area. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Recommended routine pairings by skin type
- Oily and combination skin: Follow with a lightweight toner, and use a BHA serum 2–3 times a week to help target pores
- Acne-prone skin: Non-comedogenic tested, so it's safe for breakout-prone complexions
- Blackhead concerns: Pair with the Blackhead Melting Softener from the same line for a targeted treatment boost
Important notes on BHA use
Contains 0.5% salicylic acid (BHA) to help address excess dead skin cells and pore buildup. Avoid using retinol or other exfoliating products at the same time to prevent irritation—space them out throughout the day. If you experience dryness or sensitivity, reduce frequency of use. If discomfort persists, consult a dermatologist.
