Kaolin & Bentonite Clay Target Pore-Clogging Sebum
This clay mask is a wash-off treatment used during your cleansing step. Apply it to towel-dried skin after your regular cleanser, rinse it off, then continue with your usual skincare routine starting with toner. Kaolin and bentonite work to draw out impurities and excess sebum trapped in pores, leaving skin clarified and refined.
Use 1–2 Times Per Week, Evening Cleanse
Rather than daily use, incorporate this clay mask 1–2 times per week during your evening cleanse. Focus on sebum-prone areas like the T-zone and around the nose to minimize potential irritation. While the formula is suitable for sensitive skin, skip it on days when your skin feels particularly reactive.
Apply to Dry Skin in a Smooth Layer
After cleansing, pat skin completely dry, then dispense a moderate amount and spread evenly, avoiding the eye and lip areas. The airy, whipped-cream texture glides on smoothly without any stiffness. After about 10 minutes, once the clay has dried and you feel a slight tightening sensation, rinse with lukewarm water using gentle circular motions, concentrating on the nose and T-zone.
Follow-Up Care by Skin Type
- Oily to Combination Skin: After rinsing, refine skin texture with a lightweight water-type toner, then seal in moisture with a fresh hydrating gel
- Dry Skin: Clay masks can feel drying, so follow up with a deeply hydrating toner and cream to replenish moisture
- For Targeted Pore and Sebum Care: Alternate with a BHA toner, but avoid using both on the same day
Precautions and Storage
Avoid the eye area. If particles enter the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a specialist if irritation persists. Best used within 12 months of opening. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Discontinue use if redness, swelling, itching, or other irritation occurs.
