After using a blackhead softener, during the sebum removal step
This tool is designed to be used after softening sebum with a blackhead softener or pore strip. Once the sebum has been softened, gently glide the stainless steel cleaner across the area to lift away impurities without irritation. When using with cleansing oil or foam, attach the silicone brush head and massage in rolling motions for a deeper cleanse.
Use a light touch and work against the skin texture
The most important thing when using the stainless steel cleaner is pressure control. Don't press down—let the weight of the tool do the work as you gently sweep it against the direction of your skin texture. The rounded shape naturally contours to curved areas like the sides of the nose. The silicone brush is double-sided, so you can cleanse and massage in one step.
Complete drying after use is essential
Rinse thoroughly under running water, then make sure it's completely dry. If cleanser or moisture is left on the silicone, bacteria or mold can develop. Always dry it fully in a cool, well-ventilated area before storing.
Most effective when paired with blackhead care products
- Soften sebum with a blackhead softener, then remove with the cleaner
- Massage with the silicone brush while using cleansing oil for a deep cleanse
- Use with a salicylic acid cleanser to help target impurities inside pores
Avoid high heat and excessive pressure
While stainless steel and silicone are durable materials, exposure to high heat can cause deformation. Keep away from heat sources, and do not use on broken skin or sensitive areas such as around the eyes or mouth. If redness or irritation occurs during use, discontinue immediately.
