Start your nail art journey at the wire shaping stage
After completing your gel nail base, place the wire decoration before applying your top coat. The 1mm wire has just the right firmness to hold the shape you create, and it sits securely on the nail surface.
Shape with precision using nippers and tweezers
Use nail nippers to cut the wire to your desired length. With tweezers or a thin pen, bend it into circles, hearts, waves, or any shape you like. If the cut ends are sharp, they can catch on things, so gently curl the tips inward to finish.
Store sealed after use
Keep leftover wire in a ziplock bag or airtight container. Prolonged exposure to air can cause oxidation and discoloration. Store in a cool, low-humidity spot to keep it clean and ready for longer.
Seal with gel for a secure hold
Once you've placed your shaped wire on the nail, cover it with clear gel or builder gel and cure. Make sure the gel wraps around the edges of the wire completely to prevent lifting and ensure lasting wear. Wire adheres much better with gel polish than with regular lacquer.
Handle sharp ends carefully and keep tools clean
The cut ends of the wire can be sharp, so check them with your fingers before use. Since these tools touch your skin, wipe your nippers and tweezers with an alcohol pad after each use to keep them hygienic. Replace any wire that shows rust or bending.
