The first step in your skincare routine: cleansing
A cleansing foam is where every skincare routine begins. When your skin is thoroughly cleansed, the toner, essence, and cream that follow can absorb more effectively. On days when you wear makeup, use a cleansing oil or pad first, then follow with this foam cleanser for a completely clean finish.
Your everyday cleanser, morning and night
The pH 5.5 mildly acidic formula is gentle enough for daily use, morning and night. In the morning, it lightly clears away sebum produced overnight. In the evening, it washes away the buildup from the day. If you have oily skin, we recommend using it as a lighter morning cleanser rather than in the evening.
Build a rich, creamy lather for a gentle cleanse
Wet your hands, dispense an appropriate amount, and work it into a full lather. Once you've built a dense, soft foam, massage it over your face in circular motions. Pay extra attention to the sides of your nose and jawline, and use a lighter touch around the eyes and lips. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Next steps by skin type
- Dry or sensitive skin: Apply a deeply hydrating toner immediately after cleansing to lock in moisture
- Combination skin: Follow with a lightweight water-type toner, then layer essence only on dry areas to restore balance
- Oily skin: Use it as a light morning cleanser, and in the evening, pair it with pore-care products for a more targeted routine
Important notes on exfoliating ingredients
This formula contains AHA (exfoliating agent), BHA (helps dissolve buildup inside pores), and PHA (gentle exfoliating ingredient) for soft, daily exfoliation. However, using it alongside a separate high-concentration peeling product may cause irritation, so adjust based on how your skin feels. If you experience redness or stinging during use, discontinue and consult a dermatologist. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and use within 12 months of opening.
